This vintage Victorian late 19th century glass trinket box originated from the United Kingdom. It has a "squatty" round glass form in opaque green with brass metalwork. There is a hinged glass cover, wonderfully decorated with a gold framed circular polished white panel containing a colorful hand painted scene. This scene is Chinese inspired & features applied raised painted decorations showcasing a wild crane amidst a floral landscape.
