This vintage hand carved teak pedestal is an exceptional Chinese export from the 1920's. The decorative dark teak five sided pedestal is designed with an elaborate floral motif. Hand crafted solid legs featuring skirted floral panels & gallery panels support a framed round rouge marble top. The pedestal has a high polish finish, beautifully accenting the carved teak wood. The condition is very good though one should know one panel has an old repair only visible from within (image 12) ! A lovely small pedestal/table that could have many uses in a buyer's home.
