Set of six large candlesticks or candelabra, carved from wood lacquered in cream and gilt.
Placed on the floor or on altars in churches or private chapels, which they illuminated and decorated, these candelabra are painted only on the visible side.
Italian work from the early 19th century, these candlesticks show wear, cracks, missing pieces, and traces of treated wood-boring insects.
