An essential piece of late 20th-century design, this 1978 Décor "BYO 545" Insulated Wine Chiller/Caddy was designed by Richard Carlson for Brian Davis & Co., Pty Ltd. It is a certified design classic, confirmed by its inclusion in The Museum of Modern Art, New York (MoMA) Permanent Collection.
Overtly Pop and Space-Age, its crisp white color and exaggerated black handle feature the graphic simplicity and color-blocking that was a key visual precursor to the Memphis Group and the emerging Postmodern aesthetic of the 1980s.
