Super colorful, and historical. A beautiful illustrated print of Gilbert and Sullivan is featuring The Peer and the Peri, by Arthur Sullivan The composer. Gilbert and Sullivan operette Ruddigore. showcasing crowds of poeple with colorful outfit on the top. prince and princess with lords and dukes and singers with crowns and english outfits. The name of Lucille Corcos (1908-1973) appears to be in this art of treasury of Gilbert and Sullivan. American Artist known for her illustrations for books and magazines. either symbol, or monogram of artist appears on the very end to the right of the artwork.
The art appears to be in excellent condition, and recently updated with wood frame and a white matting with gilt borders. Secured front with clear cover.
The dimensions overall including frame is : Vertically 18" x 15" x 4.5" frame and mat. The border of frame is of gilt. Verso white paper secured with micro nails.
