This carved and gilded French-style mirror is signed La Barge and features a beautifully beveled mirror plate with hand-carved floral detailing. The hand-carved wood frame showcases elegant leaf and basket motifs inspired by the Louis XVI Neoclassical Revival style. Light paint loss is present, consistent with age, but the piece remains in very good overall condition. Finished in a warm brown tone, this grand trumeau-style mirror makes a striking architectural statement.
