It is made up of many layers of acrylic paint both thick and glazed. Each bird is painted differently, and the scale and value and saturation and color vary. Each bird is a real bird-a species you can see. Yes, the color may be made saturated, less saturated, stripes added where there were none, but each one is a real bird, not made up. As a birdwatcher I just have to make the birds or any animal art, real.. Each of these species are on the smaller side, hence the title "Little Birds".
