A striking neoclassical carved marble bas-relief depicting three cherubs in high relief, presented in an ornate oval gilt wood frame with classical floral, scroll, and grapevine detailing. The sculptural modeling of the figures creates exceptional depth and shadow, giving the composition strong dimensional presence and visual impact.
The reverse features a mounted classical bronze medallion dated 1889, adding historical character and decorative interest. This piece was sourced from a distinguished antique dealer estate and was clearly selected for its craftsmanship, decorative weight, and classical composition.
