The fragment is showcasing what would normally be the reverse of the carpet and is securely wrapped around a piece of foam atop a solid oak wooden slotted base that has been smoothly sanded with a clear, water based, matte finish. What a conversation piece of furniture that is comfortable, versatile and gorgeous! This item is intended as a footrest. As the fragment is vintage, please note that there are signs of use and age like isolated wear / foundation showing, etc. as well as repairs made in house.
