This chest is grain and feather painted. Made with old wood and hand cut dovetail joints. This chest has been been repainted and retains its original paint and design. Original “Snipe Hinges “ and flat strap hand made wrought iron lock and plate, there is no key. The inside has been painted at some time with what looks like chalk paint, should come of if so wished. A few scuff marks are consistent with age related wear. This chest was originally for documents or small maps. Size 28” long x 14” deep and 11” high all measurements are approx. See less
