Stig Ryberg (Karl Oskar Stig Ryberg, 1917–1989) was a Swedish painter, sculptor, illustrator, and draftsman. He studied in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and later in Paris. He held his first solo exhibition in Copenhagen in 1950 and later showed his work in Stockholm. He worked in many techniques: oil painting, sculpture, church decorations, mosaics, stained glass, and illustration. His public works include a bronze portrait bust and various church commissions. He also illustrated for the newspaper Stockholms-Tidningen. In his hometown, one of his outdoor works, Trollsländan, was donated to the municipality. Ryberg is known for his versatility and for contributing to both public and private art in Sweden during the 20th century. This piece has an attribution mark,
