It was produced by the … Read more This original highboard from the 1960s consists of two sections and is of high-quality craftsmanship.

It was produced by the Marx-Möbelfabrik OHG in Friedrichroda, Thuringia. This is the "Berlin" model. A certificate of authenticity is included.

The frame is made of beech and spruce wood, the surfaces are finished with pear veneer, and the fronts are polished.

Four keys are included.

The upper section consists of a large display cabinet with an elegant curve. Access is via two sliding glass doors with gold trim.

Two height-adjustable glass shelves divide the storage space. Behind the right-hand double doors is additional storage space with two wooden shelves.

The lower section offers additional storage. On the left side, behind a door, are three drawers, one of which has an integrated cutlery system.

In the center is a double door, and on the right is another hinged door. Both storage compartments have a wooden shelf.


This highboard is a distinctive piece of furniture from the mid-century modern era, offering ample storage space and an impressive display cabinet, ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, or offices.
