The timelessly elegant … Read more The renowned SK series from the German manufacturer Braun still enjoys a large following for good reason. The timelessly elegant design by Fritz Eichler and Artur Braun, which proved groundbreaking, still appears modern 70 years later. The radio offered here is extremely rare. It is a very early example of the second model in the series, the "SK 2." This is identifiable by its unlit dial with the large "Braun" logo and the red dot as a finder, instead of the later pointers. Only one comparable radio could be found, in the collection of the Museum of Communication in Frankfurt am Main. The radio is in excellent original condition. It functions perfectly, with very good sound and reception. The casing shows only minimal signs of age and use and is undamaged. This piece has an attribution mark,
