The upper rail features an inscription dated 1732, rendered in Gothic script, indicating the year of its creation — very likely made as a marriage or dowry piece.

The cabinet retains its original painted decoration, with stylized floral motifs in warm shades of red, green, and ochre, characteristic of 18th-century Alpine folk art. The façade is structured with moulded panels, and the door closes with a traditional wooden latch. A slightly projecting cornice is highlighted with a band of red and dark green squares; below, the full plinth is similarly accented with a red painted stripe.
