The tabletop is the highlight of this piece: it features a classic sunburst marquetry motif, in which fine black marquetry lines radiate from the center, creating a star-like effect. This marquetry technique required great craftsmanship and is a hallmark of high-quality Biedermeier furniture. The underlying walnut veneer displays a vibrant yet subtle grain, providing an elegant frame for the radiating design.

The base is designed in classic Biedermeier style: a faceted, column-like pillar supports the tabletop, while the base consists of four elegant, finely crafted square taper feet. This design combined elegance with functionality—ideal as a side table next to a sofa or as a decorative center table in the living room.

Condition: The table is in good, ready-to-use condition with age-appropriate signs of wear.
