The semicircular top is made of solid cherry wood and cherry veneer, whose warm, vibrant grain pattern is particularly beautiful in the light.

Decorative ebonized elements clearly accentuate the form and create a striking contrast – a typically refined detail of the mature Biedermeier period.

The piece is supported by delicately curved saber legs, which lend the table a graceful lightness. A central cross brace provides stability and emphasizes the harmonious silhouette.

The table has been expertly restored and then hand-polished with shellac. This brings out the full depth and luster of the cherry wood – a finish that perfectly reflects the original period.
