Unknown, possibly in ancient China. It is covered with green rust all over, so it was difficult to see what was the actual material. Then, I discovered there was some shiny spot at the bottom of it, which appears to be bronze.

I bought this item in 2004 from Beijing, China when I attended the Summer Chinese Language Learning Program offered at the Beijing University. I cannot remember the exact place where I bought it, but I remember how exciting I was to see it. It just caught my attention as though it was pulling me. It was magical! See less
