Shade is made of Murano Glass in the Tessuto or 'tissue' look and technique. Because of how the metal base sits, it can be placed on a table/flat surface, or possibly hung as a pendant light. Measures 13" in diameter. Maker name stamped on inside of metal base. The lamp has a keyless bulb socket and intended for use with a wall switch. Original European plug -which will be included- has been changed to US plug. See less
