Very … Read more MID-CENTURY MODERN 1960S Tangerine Naugahyde & Danish/Scandanavien-esque Wood Chair & Ottoman / Footstool, Orange Soft Upholstery & Walnut Finish. Very good condition, and surprisingly comfy. The naugahyde is like soft leather and thick/sturdy, the foam is still very supportive, and both the frame and cushions are nice and light. The back of the chair folds down flat when the cushion is removed.

This is one of my favorite pieces -- such a Boho / groovy attitude, yet surprisingly comfy. The cushions are removable, and the chair's back folds down, so you can easily carry it, store it, & move about! I listed it as Orange-Tangerine, but there is a mellowness to the orange, a bit more golden = an orange'y butterscotch. Photo color is reasonably accurate.

The ottoman is sturdy enough for petite adult extra seating during gatherings or add a lovely MCM or danish tray to use as a serving table.

I try to see and note/photograph ANYTHING/EVERYTHING on all my pieces:

AGE: 60+ yrs Vintage
Some scritching on wood finish (seen on footstool leg photo), but should be easy to buff out - the wood has some exceptional finish that was supposed to make this easy. I will try before shipping.

The seat cushions have some black scuff marks on hidden parts from scraping on wood when people get on and off -- they need a bit of extra cleaning care (photo)...I will focus on when shipping out.

The naugahyde seat cushion has two front corners with approx 2" bottom-corner damage (fraying & slight separation between bottom & side upholstery) from scooting when people sit down and from rubbing on the wood (photo)—but nothing is seen or felt when the cushion is sitting in the wood frame -- I assume some patching from a knowledgeable upholsterer could remedy this -- but it does not affect its look or use.

The seat cushions have a black thin covering that has come loose on a couple of edges, can be reglued, removed, or stay as it is without any look or usage issues.
