A stunning set of six antique Chinese export Rose Canton / Rose Mandarin demitasse cups and saucers, richly decorated in the highly collectible butterfly and florals motif. These late Qing dynasty pieces (circa 1890–1910) feature beautifully hand-painted enamels in vibrant greens, oranges, pinks, and blues — a classic palette of southern Chinese famille rose export porcelain.
Each cylindrical cup is adorned with dense butterfly clusters and scrolling florals, with matching saucers that display a central butterfly medallion surrounded by a lavish border. The interiors are also decorated, showcasing the exceptional level of detail typical of earlier export pieces.
The underside bears the traditional red “CHINA” export mark used between 1890 and 1919, confirming their authenticity and age.
