Stunning hand painted vintage teacup and saucer set in the Orchard Fruit Gold pattern by Aynsley. Excellent artistry and craftsmanship.
The teacup is signed D. Jones and the saucer is signed N. Brunt. Both famous skilled artists that produced many lovely pieces for this company.
Both are in excellent condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing. The saucer shows minor scratching/scuffing on the gold area where the teacup sits. No loss of gold, however. The teacup also has minor scuffs on the gold handle, no loss of gold. Scalloped lip on cup and saucer.
Cup measures 5" wide with the handle, 2.25" tall. The saucer is 5 7/8" wide and about 1/2" deep.
