Produced by dřevotvar in the czech republic. Czech design will always be affiliated to the bauhaus movement which inspired a generation of design and industrial production in czechia principally during the second half of the 20th century with producers such as ton and up zavody amongst many others. This is a high quality practical storage cabinet made in a rich dark sapele with a contrasting sapele interior. In exceptional original condition the cabinet has been sensitively restored in our own workshop. The cabinet features three full width adjustable shelves which are original plus an original wardrobe shelf which gives flexibility as the shelves are removeable (and adjustable). The cabinet sits on a graceful painted base. Internal dimensions: 47l x 90w. The shelves are set at 27h each. All in cm. Workshop report: our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
