This original piece of furniture impresses with its craftsmanship, fine carved decoration, and large, beveled mirror doors. The strongly profiled cornice with its continuous carved ornamental band (vines, arches, and floral motifs) is particularly striking. Made of oak, the wardrobe stands on rectangular feet and, despite its size, appears elegant and well-balanced. Inside, a clothes rail provides ample space for hanging garments. Material: Solid oak, original beveled mirrors, brass fittings.

Dimensions in cm: H 213 / W 136 / D 55-61. Origin: France. Originally crafted as a prestigious storage unit for clothing, this wardrobe typically served as a central element of bedroom furniture in middle-class homes.
