The secretary desk likely dates from around 1825 and is probably of German origin.
Material:
The secretary desk is made of cherry veneer on a softwood base.

Construction:
The secretary desk is not disassemblable and consists of one piece.
Condition:
Original antique in good condition for its age, with signs of wear,
partially replaced, damaged, with missing pieces, shrinkage cracks, and old restoration (see photos).
