Includes a single 100-watt bulb and manufacturer's label. Albano poli was born in verona on august 2, 1935. He attended the napoleone nani art school in verona and subsequently began his professional career creating stained glass windows. In 1953, he founded his art studio, an expression of his poetics, where he still experiments with every type of painting, sculpture, and decorative technique. Unconcerned with the advent of new materials like plastic or new industrial production processes, he manages to place manual skill at the service of intuition, rationality at the service of artistic irrationality. Poliarte, a brand of progetto arte poli, established itself in the panorama of made in italy furniture design of the 1970s with recognition at the xxxiv venice biennale: a sculptural lamp with a cubic geometry became the symbol and inspiration for all subsequent production. Thus, from the combination of glass, wrought iron, bronze and silver, the poliarte lamps were born: original shapes with formal linearity in balance with the nature of the glass and the solidity of the materials.
