With handcut marble polychrome marble specimens inlaid on a stepped black slate base.

Mounted with an .800 silver ring to the foot.

Fully signed to the base and marked 9/50.

Simply a wonderful pietra dura paperweight!

Late 20th Century (or possibly early 21st)

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition

Condition Details:
There appears to be a seam or crack (we can't tell) that runs through the entirety of the stepped base. It does not penetrate the top. There is a slightly scuffed spot to the center of the paperweight. Otherwise, there is some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Marked to the silver for .800 fineness. & a maker's mark. Marked to the black base for Made in Italy / g Fiaschi / 9\250 / Ltd Edit
