Nordmende was one of the major German manufacturers of radios and televisions in the mid-20th century. The Transita series was among the most popular and highest-quality transistor radios of its time. The "de Luxe" model was launched in 1962. It is one of the early fully transistorized radios and continues to impress with its excellent sound, to which the wooden cabinet of the radio also contributes significantly. The radio is in very good condition. FM reception is excellent. Reception on other wavebands varies depending on location. This piece has an attribution mark,
