A stunning ceramic candle holder, entirely hand-molded, also known as plastic, and decorated with an airbrush, embellished with a figure resembling a native. Dating between 1940 and 1960, it is signed on the base "Mario Cortiello," an important Neapolitan artist. The artistic style could be described as dreamlike Fauvism, very similar to the works of Chagall; it is no coincidence that Cortiello has been nicknamed the "Italian Chagall." A unique piece of great artistic value.
