This exceptional mid-century highboard was imported from Germany in the 1960s and showcases the clean lines, warm wood tones, and craftsmanship that define European modernist design. Constructed from solid wood and extremely sturdy, the piece features a striking combination of vertical panel doors with keys and functioning locks, a black glass sliding door for bar compartment, four drawers with brass handles, and interior glass shelving for display.

The storage layout is highly versatile—perfect for use as a dining room sideboard, a living room display cabinet, or even a stylish wardrobe in a bedroom. The highboard has been well cared for over the decades, with only minor surface scratches from normal use. The wood handle on the black glass sliding door was repaired at some point, visible in the photos, but the door operates smoothly and the piece remains fully functional.

Beautiful, substantial, and rarely found in the United States, this highboard makes a standout statement in any mid-century or eclectic interior.
