Found in original felt, from the famous store J. E. Caldwell. Manufactured by W.&S. Blackington and Co. .Beautiful pair of salad servers and they look like new. Hefty and beautifully simple in design. Weight: 283 grams.
W. & S. Blackinton was formed in 1868, by William, Samuel and Lewis Blackinton, and in 1869, Horton, Angell & Company, came into being, the first local concern to pay its employees weekly. The original partners were E. J. Horton, B. J. Angell and G. M. Horton and the firm engaged in rolled gold plate, wire and tubing, which constitutes the present-day product.
