This vintage 4x7 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Müren.
Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970, its design hosts polychromatic chevron patterns on a more neutral beige field. Connoisseurs may observe a tribal or Moroccan sensibility and admire Müren’s talent for recapturing classic sensibilities in creative ways.

This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this provenance. Keen eyes will note the pile has been lowered, and admire the shabby-chic, distressed look it lends the piece.
