The lamp features a massive (50 cm diameter) hand-blown Murano glass shade in a translucent opaline white finish. The glass is blown directly into a metallic nickeled cage, creating a soft, organic "pumpkin" or spiral shape where the glass gently protrudes through the wires. It rests on a sleek, black wooden base. When illuminated, the opaline glass diffuses a soft, ambient glow, highlighting the architectural lines of the metal frame. A true statement piece of sophistication, seamlessly complementing modern, mid-century, and contemporary interiors. This vintage lighting piece is exceptionally well-maintained and in good vintage condition. The nickeled metal cage shows some natural patina consistent with age (see photos), adding to its character. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
