Beautiful set of ten walnut dining chairs made in 1926 by Smith & Watson in England. Crafted in the classic Queen Anne style, each chair features a vase-shaped splat, cabriole legs with shell carvings, and a stretcher base for added stability.
The seats retain their original hand-stitched petit point upholstery, each uniquely worked and initialed—adding charm and documented provenance. A historic label beneath one chair notes the set was custom-made in 1926 for Alfred and Jeannette Renshaw.
A rare complete set of ten, perfect for a traditional dining space or for mixing into an eclectic interior.
