Antique French Louis XV Inlay Burr Walnut High Chest
This type of furniture is known for its elegant, curved design and ornate details.
The style is characterized by a serpentine or curved front, cabriolet legs, and ornate brass or bronze hardware. Luis XV-style furniture was popular during the Rococo period, and other features include decorative carvings and intricate inlays. The only mark found is the number 545.
The condition of this antique piece is good due to its age, more than 100 years old. The wood looks shiny and strong, as the font inlay is in perfect condition, the handles are complete and look great.
This chest is very heavy, around 220 pounds.
