An early to mid-20th century antique Toguna support post or totem on a custom black iron base. Hand-carved wood in a Dogon Y-shaped style, featuring an anthropomorphic female form with a large mask or face. These posts pay homage to the proliferation of the Dogon people by incorporating fertility motifs in their design. A striking sculptural architectural element with a beautiful patina, standing over 7 ft high!
