This stoneware pitcher by Dorchester Pottery features a molded handle and the iconic blue slip decoration that made the Boston-area pottery so collectible. It is decorated with vibrant blueberries on both sides.
Marked on the underside and handle, identifying Charles Allen Hill, a skilled decorator at Dorchester Pottery during the mid-1900s. Dorchester Pottery was known for its durable stoneware, hand-applied blue decorations, and practical forms meant for everyday New England kitchens.
