This chair was made in Yugoslavia in the 1960s. The architect Janez Lajovic designed it in 1962 for the Hotel Prisank in Kranjska Gora, so the chair is most often referred to as Prisank. Its frame is made of wood, while Lajovic chose leather for the seat and back.
A limited series of chairs (around 150) were made for the Prisank Hotel at the time, and a simplified version of the chair later filled many more public spaces.
Interesting detail: metal clasps with which the leather backrest is fastened.
