The simple frame is made of chromed steel … Read more In 1974, Enzo Mari designed the archetypal Delfina stackable chair for Driade. The simple frame is made of chromed steel rod. The seat and backrest are upholstered in fabric with a super-reinforced RiRi zipper. It won the Compasso d'Oro award in 1979. These four chairs date back to the early 1980s and are still produced by Driade (now by Rexite), as evidenced by the colored zippers, unlike the new ones, which have chromed steel zippers. The chairs do not have the original labels, which were removed during use, but they are clearly identifiable. The frames are perfect. One chair has a tear in the seat, and there are some signs of use and age, but they are in good vintage condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
