made entirely of solid teak, this wall-mounted accordion lamp is also known as a bracket lamp.
we are not certain of its origin in the netherlands, but
it closely resembles lamps made in that country.
works perfectly with updated wiring. B22 socket, no ground wire.
the lower arm on the wall side is free-hanging: the lamp was designed this way and is easily adjustable.
a groove has been cut into the back of the wall base to accommodate the power cord (see photos).
the lamp also rotates 180° to adjust the lighting, in addition to the accordion extension.
no original engraving or label, but authentic 1960s. It differs from models seen online by the sliding tube, which is made of wood on this one and iron on others.
the non-translucent lampshade appears to be original with some missing white trim (see photos); it is also used to illustrate the listing and is sold with the lamp. It will serve as an example for a possible replacement.
ideal for lighting a work area or dining table above which the ceiling is not electrified.
