A fine Edwardian figural matchsafe or vesta.
In sterling silver.
In the shape of a heart.
Made by William Hair Haseler of Birmingham, England in 1898.
With engraved leaf decoration throughout, an striker to the side, a sturdy hinge, and an internal spring.
Engraved with a monogramed shield cartouche to the front.
Simply a wonderful antique silver vesta!
