The thick, … Read more A dramatic and impressive Art Deco Moderne Saucer shaped form hanging ceiling lamp designed and manufactured circa 1930's. The thick, hefty glass saucer (7+ lbs.) shade is designed in the same manner as the Prismatic glass patterns found in similar Holophane Brand glass shade designs from the same era. The hanging glass and metal fixture with its' rare porcelain "star" shaped 5-socket light hardware is a unique detail found only in the highest end lighting fixtures of the period. See less

- This impressive hanging lamps is in exceptional lightly used overall original condition completely intact, fully functional and ready for any … moreThis impressive hanging lamps is in exceptional lightly used overall original condition completely intact, fully functional and ready for any hardwired installation. No real signs of any long term usage, wear or blemishes to the glass or hardware aside from some slight edge paint to the ceiling canopy. That said there is one small rough area of the outer edge of the glass shade that is really so small that I did not see it on physical inspection but only felt it with my fingers (last pic). The sockets and wiring are original and all have been inspected & tested to be clean, safe and functional. The original hardwiring bracket is still intact for easy installation in most applications. The lamps general shade dimensions are 16" diameter width X 4" deep weighing a hefty 7+ lbs , the overall complete hanging length is around 12" long. less
