Traditionally styled semi-antique 20th century Persian Heriz rug crafted from hand-knotted wool with a cotton warp. The rug features a large multi-faceted star medallion in a red field with fascinating electric blue palmette designs. The field has triangular shaped corners with a beige ground. Beautifully crafted with a smooth even pile of lustrous and soft wool. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
