The true challenge lies in the art of making the oil resonate on its support without altering its intensity or sensuality. No hasty gestures: control and breath are the key words of this series. One senses a certain force, both powerful and voluptuous. Black becomes a mirror, a deep surface in which the gaze is reflected.
The oil, almost tactile to the eye, softens any aggression despite a bold line, applied with a sure hand, without hesitation. This series represents a culmination: one must be completely centered to attempt to move the viewer with a single, essential line.
