We are pleased to offer this beautiful English Chippendale desk, from the 1890s.
This desk is made of Mahogany wood, featuring a gallery top that has fine brass turnings holding the mahogany rail.
The flip down writing surface reveals 4 small dovetailed drawers & 4 cubbies and a small central door reveals 2 drawers and 2 cubbies inside.
The bottom section reveals 4 large dovetailed drawers with original handles, drawers are clean and it slides in and out smoothly.
Supported with four sturdy legs, the two in the front ending with claw feet.
Completely restored ( refinished hand French polish), very sturdy and in very good condition.
