I was going through some unexpected health challenges and I found painting meditative stripes kept my spirits up, but a new shape and idea emerged. I couldn't stop drawing cups and vessels- in my sketchbooks, doodles and eventually, I started painting them. Or should I say, I painted negative space around my stripes that sculpted Color Cups. The Color Cups bring repetition, color, and design together as a metaphor for abundance, health and joy. A toast to the good stuff!
