The chest has an elongated, low shape and is constructed from simple wooden boards, with attractively rough, visible edges along the sides. The overall look is calm and utilitarian, with a well-aged patina that suits a wabi-sabi interior beautifully.

At the front are three long pull-out drawers with oval cut-outs as handles on each short side. One drawer is missing, creating a generous open compartment.

Pieces like this were likely used in a workshop or textile studio – you can see from the photos how the drawers are perfect for yarns, rolls of fabric or tools. In a contemporary interior it works wonderfully in an art studio (drawing and painting materials, paper, sketchbooks), in the living space (magazines, throws, games), or in a spacious hallway or dressing room (scarves, bags, shoe accessories).
