Excellent oil on canvas depicting a Castilian landscape, signed by Raimundo de Blas. Raimundo de Blas (Mucientes, 1910-1975) was a poet and painter born in Mucientes, Valladolid, known for his portrayals of life in Castile. He trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Valladolid and worked as an agricultural laborer before dedicating himself to his true vocation: art. He entered the School of Arts and Crafts in Valladolid in 1921. Among his achievements are the first prize for poetry in a Radio Valladolid competition in 1948 and the publication of his poetry collection "Campos de Castilla" in 1947.

His hometown, Mucientes, has honored him on several occasions, including the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and the donation of some of his work to the town hall. The public school in Arroyo de la Encomienda bears his name in recognition of his artistic work and his efforts in adult literacy. The exhibition "The Legacy of Raimundo de Blas: Poet and Painter" was held at the Casa de Zorrilla in Valladolid in 2025 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his death.
