A super rare minimalist Art Mirror by renowned Belgian glass and mirror artist Michel Martens. Designed & made in Belgium in the 1970s, the mirror glass was hand cut with a simple bevelled edge square-on-square in the centre.
The back is his trademark moulded foam with an inset aluminium hanging rail, enabling the mirror to hang beautifully flush and square.
Production was very limited- they were a true luxury item, and very expensive when originally made. These Art Mirrors are seldom seen on the market.
This mirror is in very good vintage condition- no chips or cracks, some very slight scratches. A tiny bit of wear to the foam at the back.
