The rectangular shaped … Read more This is a large finely carved mahogany Anglo-Indian ottoman / stool, dating from the early 19th Century. The rectangular shaped ottoman features a deep superbly carved base decorated with scrolls, foliate and floral ornamentation on exaggerated cabriole legs. It is upholstered in a fine gold fabric with diamond pattern decoration. Add a bit of cheer to your home with this delightful stool. The botanical name for the mahogany that this item is made of is Swietenia Macrophylla and this type of mahogany is not subject to cites regulation and does not contain any restricted materials.
