This dynamic oil captures a working ship moored at the docks, with two figures in a small skiff and soft Pacific light rippling across the water. The work remains in its original 1930s carved wood frame with a linen-wrapped liner. The linen shows age-expected discoloration, completely typical of frames from this era. The painting surface appears stable and would benefit from a light cleaning, which I’ve left to the discretion of the buyer.
